Selecting TEIN Coilover Suspensions for Your Vehicle

A TEIN coilover suspension lets you adjust your vehicle’s ride height within the specified adjustment range. Which series and model are right for you depends on your vehicle and the adjustment options you want. Use the vehicle selector by entering the manufacturer, model, type code, and production year. The sample products shown here provide an overview of the product line; you can find the right product for your vehicle using the vehicle selector.

Compare FLEX Z, Street BASIS Z, and other series

The product range includes, among others, FLEX Z, STREET BASIS Z, STREET ADVANCE Z, MONO Sport, and MONO RACING. A series name alone is not sufficient for selection. Compare the specific part number, scope of delivery, mounting hardware, and listed adjustment options. The features of one series cannot be applied to all other TEIN suspension systems.

Consider lowering and damping separately

Height adjustment and damping adjustment are different features. Therefore, pay attention to the specifications for both the front and rear axles, as well as whether and how the damping can be adjusted. The recommended lowering range is not the same as the maximum mechanically possible adjustment range. Even with the same suspension part number, the values may vary depending on the vehicle model.

What’s Important Before Ordering

Verify that the type code, production period, and model match your vehicle. The initial registration date alone is not sufficient for this. Also check the specified scope of the certification, installation instructions, and what’s included with the product. A TÜV mark on the product does not automatically mean that all listed vehicles are covered by the same certification.

Is the damping adjustable on every coilover suspension?

No, the adjustment options depend on the series and the specific model. The technical specifications of the selected item are decisive.

Is EDFC included in the package?

EDFC is intended only for compatible applications. Check the compatibility and the required components; a compatible suspension does not automatically include an EDFC system.

What does “All model years” mean?

This selection groups together the covered production periods. Be sure to check the product listing to confirm that your specific production period is covered.
